My Final Digi-Pack Image:

However later we decided to reject my previous image as the background was not consistent with the front cover and contents page. We also used this very background for our website to enable a consistency in all our products which eventually helps us build a brand for our vocalist Sonia Roy.

Instead of using 4 images of Sonia like my previous attempt I decided to play around with positioning of my images and eventually decided to use 2 key images. In one she is positioned at the front, almost as if she coming out of the pictuure and the other she seems to peering at herself. Such arrangemments allows the viewers to explore into the picture. Having used the same background as my other group members, I eventually came up with the final image.

Audience Feedback on My First Digi-Pack:

Having looked at the suggestions that my target audience provided, I think I need to play around with the layout a bit more in terms of the arrangement of my images. I also noticed that there were mixed opinions on my choice of background, where some liked it, and others believed it didn't fit in with the conventions of the POP genre. I think I might change the background an opt for a fewer images.

My First Attempt on a Digi-Pack Image:

These are screen shots of the steps I took in order to produce my image for our Digi-pack which will be used for the inside cover for our CD where the disc is placed.
Initially I chose the image that I wanted for my Digi-pack and opened it up on 'Photoshop.'
I cropped out the background and made changes to her skin. I also played around with the cloning tool and extended her hair to give her a conventional POP artist look.

I took time to ensure there was no unwanted edges on my image and that all of the background was completely erased. Having modified my picture to my satisfaction  I selected the whole image and copied it to transfer to another programme.

I chose this to use this as a background for our dig-pack as not only does it fit with the ongoing girly theme that we have established for our artist, but it also corresponds with our website which uses a similar balck and white image. This aallows all Sonia Roy's products and services to be associated and relate to one another. This background was then pasted and adjusted onto 'In Design.'

After choosing 4 images and having done all the photoshop processes, I pasted each individual image onto 'In Design' which provides a layout for a Digi-pack and thereby was the perfect programme to use for this particular ancillary task. I compressed the image to the perfect size so that it fits the boundaries provided.

If we compare some of my my initial idea poses for our Digi-pack, I am really happy with my development because I succeeded in getting very similar poses from my vocalist and the end product is near about exactly what I hoped for.

My Website Page:

My contribution to our official website for our vocalist, Sonia Roy.

I decided to make a page on all the 'Behind the Scene' actions that took place whilst making our music video. Such pages are popular for fans who want to see more than what the video has to offer. This allows fans to get an insight on how the video was initially made in the first place which not only acts as surveillance but also makes the website more personal.

This page is full of fun and I enhanced this feature by adding interactive element that include pictures and videos. This page in particular has been abdundanced with a lot of diffferent media forms which will attract the viewer's eyes and will also provide opportunity for users to make choice and browse.

I quicky edited few clips that I took whilst making this video and created a 'Making' video that are commonly released when a music video is out. This brings about the real personality of the vocalist when the cameras are away. I also included a few pictures of the team behind this video which illustrates the realtionship of the artist with the crew members.

Her fans can easily download the images of her that appeals to them and also tweet us about what they like which develops the concept of communication and socialisation where an individual is able to join communities where all share silmilar interests.
