My First Attempt on a Digi-Pack Image:

These are screen shots of the steps I took in order to produce my image for our Digi-pack which will be used for the inside cover for our CD where the disc is placed.
Initially I chose the image that I wanted for my Digi-pack and opened it up on 'Photoshop.'
I cropped out the background and made changes to her skin. I also played around with the cloning tool and extended her hair to give her a conventional POP artist look.

I took time to ensure there was no unwanted edges on my image and that all of the background was completely erased. Having modified my picture to my satisfaction  I selected the whole image and copied it to transfer to another programme.

I chose this to use this as a background for our dig-pack as not only does it fit with the ongoing girly theme that we have established for our artist, but it also corresponds with our website which uses a similar balck and white image. This aallows all Sonia Roy's products and services to be associated and relate to one another. This background was then pasted and adjusted onto 'In Design.'

After choosing 4 images and having done all the photoshop processes, I pasted each individual image onto 'In Design' which provides a layout for a Digi-pack and thereby was the perfect programme to use for this particular ancillary task. I compressed the image to the perfect size so that it fits the boundaries provided.

If we compare some of my my initial idea poses for our Digi-pack, I am really happy with my development because I succeeded in getting very similar poses from my vocalist and the end product is near about exactly what I hoped for.
